Description
Heat & Eat, Low & Slow, Smoked Pulled Pork
Having treated festival goers and his BB Bistro clients with Pulled Pork Burgers for years, BraaiBoy is now sharing that love even further, making it possible for you to spoil yourself & family/friends to the same at home.
BraaiBoy uses the highest quality Duroc pigs for his pork shoulders since Duroc pigs are so great for their meat. They have a nice fat to muscle ratio which results in uniform marbling throughout each cut. You can expect a deliciously darker meat from Duroc pigs and plenty of juicy flavour, owing to the fact the meat holds moisture so well.

How long can I store my pork in the freezer?
Smoked foods that have been frozen could technically remain safe for many years. For the the best quality product though, you should defrost and use your frozen BBQ within 4-6 months.
Can I reheat my smoke pork more than once?
If your pork was previously smoked and then frozen quickly enough, there is no reason you shouldn’t be able to use it a second or even third time. Provided it was cooled quickly after cooking the 1st time (or reheating the 2nd or 3rd) and stored cold enough, reheating several times will not increase the risk of illness. However, repeated reheating (and even overly prolonged storage) will almost certainly affect the quality in terms of taste, texture and the nutritional value.
What is the best way to reheat frozen pulled pork?
The best way to reheat pulled pork that you purchased as frozen is to leave it in the bag (assuming it’s a quality vacuum bag) and then put it into really hot (but not boiling) water and let it heat through.

What else can I make using Pulled Pork?
Yes! Pulled pork works a charm in a burger, no questions asked… but it can (and should) also be used on pizzas, tacos, wraps and in salads too. You should even try it in a pie as a delicious alternative to your normal beef/chicken pie!
