My relationship with Weber South Africa goes back to before BraaiBoy even started, and as with most South Africans I grew up with numerous friends and family owning the iconic Weber Kettle Braai.

When I started my BraaiBoy journey though, Weber South Africa was one of my 1st official sponsors and partners. Working on their standard kettle and gas braais at many events, I was even fortunate enough to play with one of the only “Weber Ranch” Kettles in South Africa, but when they became instrumental in sending our team over to the Jack Daniel’s World BBQ invitational back in 2013, and  I was introduced to the Smokey Mountain that my love really took off, and since then the 57cm Weber Smokey Mountain has been one of my most trusted smokers.
