350g Monjoh’s Chilli Mayo Sauce. This very mild chilli mayonnaise sauce has a heat rating of 1/10. It’s delicious as a salad dressing or as a finisher for meat, chicken and fish.

Similar to the Monjoh’s Medium Hot Chilli Sauce, the Chilli Mayo uses Serrano chillies, but in lower quantities, and if I didn’t tell you there was chilli in the mayonnaise, you might not even notice. But don’t think that means this chilli-mayo has no chilli flavour. There’s still enough chilli in this sauce for your brain and your tongue to pick up on it and love you for it.

Rumour has it that the owner’s son, JD, once bathed in a tub of the may he loved it so much, and this is why it is now affectionately known as Jayonaise. I do not advocate such behaviour, and do not know of any health benefits it may provide, but if you do decide to try it, please let me know how it turned out for you.
